I've seen quite a few posts with people bumping up int stats for rogues/warriors to get additional crit % but I have a question on the calculation.

If your base chance to get a crit starts somewhere around 5% does each intelligence point increase the 5% by .1? For instance if I added 5 points of int would my crit chance go to 5.5%?

Or does intelligence increase as a % of the 5%. For example if I have a base intelligence of 50 I would have a 5% base increase plus 2% bonus for a 7% increase so the calculation would be:

5%+(5% x 7%)= 5.35%

if the answer is the former it seems like a good use of stat points, if its the latter....well you can figure it out for yourself.

I think it's a percentage of the base chance.

In this case, the formula is: 5.0 + ( Intelligence * 0.1 )

Really? That's not how all the other systems seem to work.

Yeah, I looked it up in the code. You are right though, it is different than how most stats work.
