Greetings Shadow -
I just installed the beta patch for 1.014 and modified the AttributePointsperLevel parm. In game test from level 1 to level 2 revealed no change however, still only a 5 point gain. I take it this is still 'broken' for modification?

I just tested it over here and it seems to work fine. Are you sure the game is reading in your changed file correctly?

All the other changes made in the file are working correctly, except for this one. However, let me check it again just in case, entirely possible I missed something somewhere :)

It must be me, I can't get it to work at all.
I've modified the classes.gdb file, dropped it in the assets/database/ directory. All I've changed the number of AttributePointsPerLevel from 5 to 6, to 9 and to 15, none of which worked. The strange thing is that I also added the ability for warriors to wear capes in the same file, which works fine, so the file is apparently getting read.
Is there another parm I need to change other than this one or something in addition to this one that I need to change that I am unaware of to get this to work? Could it be that this particular parm doesn't like the loose file?

I found the problem... in another thread in the bugs section you described how you added the parm to the systems.gdb file.... :eek:
I just changed the value there instead of the skills.gdb and it works fine :)

Oh, yeah it's in systems.gdb. That might not be the most obvious place, but it keeps it from changing all of the npcs at the same time.
