I would be happy to help with the beta testing, I have on mind that I would like to participate in the preorder, but only if later I can get the full version for the Linux platform if there will be such thing.

Is there a decided plan to create a Linux client, and if so can you plan out a way to let the player later download a linux client if he/she purchases the Win preorder?

As for now, I would buy it and try it under Wine or something like that.

That step/promise might lure Linux customers into the preorder. I would be the first Linux-user in the line to preorder the Win ver. with that assured. :)

Hmm, I'm not sure actually. Ideally I would like to, but I'm not sure if it will be feasible or not.

Thanks for the honest answer. I will skip this title until a linux client will come around in sight again.

I like that BasiliskGames chose an engine that comes with Linux, i will preorder that one instead I think, when it'll be available, Eschalon Book 2.

Hello !

As we were talking in the other thread about Linux (http://www.soldak.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1620&page=3) I was wondering if Svartalf will do the Linux port of Soldak games .... ?

There is nothing to lose here.
IF Svartalf will do the porting for the % of the Linux sales only , there is no loss here - only gain.

Also the Linux porting for Soldak games donesn't seems too hard to make, the Mac clients are already there, it's OpenGL ... is shouldn't be that hard.

As I've said before Linux gamers don't have much cRPG's to play, and your games might be a welcome addition.
