Melee range physical damage (multiple target damage)
Melee range non-physical damage (single target damage)
Melee range non-physical damage (multiple target damage)
Long range physical damage (single target damage)
Long range physical damage (multiple target damage)
Long range non-physical damage (single target damage)
Long range non-physical damage (multiple target damage)

The worlds I generate tend to be...

A few levels below my character level (-3 to -5)
Just below, or at, my character level (0 to -2)
Just above my character level (0 to 2)

Notes/Observations:
It seems that the lower levels worlds that were generated a few levels below me end up being a bit too strong.

The skill shatter seems to be overpowered to me. Its grenade aoe effect range may need to be reduced a bit.

Character Class
Weaponmaster / Fire Mage

Difficulty Level
Too erratic

My character type is
Melee physical damage. Power attack and Whirlwind, really.

The worlds I generate tend to be
Standard selection, which is two below, or equal when I want a challenge

Notes and observations
I kill most enemies in one hit. This is because of the mixture of sword mastery, arms mastery, and power attack. Meanwhile, it takes only a few hits to kill me. Most monsters can't credibly kill me in melee, but they do drain enough health that in order to be safe I have to continuously be eating food to keep myself at or near maximum. This isn't because the typical monster does at or near 50% damage to me, its because once I'm at that level of hp, a lucky monster can kill in one or two hits. I would fix this by redirecting points to vitality, but I need to be able to wear good mail armor and to hit at least 90% of the time (my current standard).

The way leveling has worked for me has been:
1-10, easy, probably intentional for introductory reasons
11-20, difficult, things weren't really coming together for my character
21-35, erratic, I hit really big, but so do monsters.

Sounds like maybe one of the warrior subclasses (or all) need to have a Class Trait that gives x amount of hp per strength point. It could be called Fortitude, something like + 3 hp per point of strength.

I'm not completely convinced that the problem is with the classes themselves.

It seems like maybe I would find the amount of damage I take a lot more palatable if I could purchase a wider array of food items. My present food regenerates about 550 damage, which is great, except that I have about 300 hp. This means I can use the food I buy during fights to regenerate particularly fast, but I don't like using it between fights because its just so expensive. I guess I'm doing alright on money, so maybe I shouldn't complain, but I get really excited when I find a vendor who sells cheaper, lower effect food, and I buy tons of it to stock up.

Character Class:
Rogue (lvl 24)

I think that the difficultly level of Din's Curse is...
Usually average, excepting certain champions

My character type is...
Stealth, crits and deep wounds, evasive (18% chance to be hit)

The worlds I generate tend to be...
Between equal and three levels above or so

Notes/Observations:
My rogue is a little fragile when hit, but that doesn't happen much. Lethal Blow insta-kills most enemies at level 4, particularly when deployed from Stealth. Smoke Screen is an invaluable panic button but also useful offensively. Seems a bit over-powered though, but I plan to go into that in a separate thread.

Character Class:
Fire Mage/Healer

I think that the difficultly level of Din's Curse is...
Too easy

My character type is...
Long range non-physical damage (multiple target damage)

The worlds I generate tend to be...
A few levels above my character level (3 to 5)

Notes/Observations:
Prayer and Minor Healing from the Healer, Fire Spiral, Volcano, and Fire Mastery from fire.

Lock things down with Spiral, drop Volcano on the tougher stuff.
Kill things through walls with Spiral.

Rinse and repeat.

Character Class:
Defender/Shaman

I think that the difficultly level of Din's Curse is...
Too hard

My character type is...
Melee range physical damage (single target damage)

The worlds I generate tend to be...
Just below, or at, my character level (0 to -2)

Notes/Observations:
Impractical to play on anything harder than -2. No AOE = glacially slow kill speed. Defender/Healer or Defender/Paladin would have made for much better choices imo -- you're just way, way too reliant on Potions/Food with this build. Healer would also net you a modest screen-wide AOE, while Paladin would let you double up on Defense skills.

Pure Rogue (lvl23)

I think that the difficultly level of Din's Curse is...
Just right

My character type is...
Melee range physical damage (single target damage)

The worlds I generate tend to be...
A few levels below my character level (-3 to -5)

Notes/Observations:
Started out with Viper Venom but cashed in my points and re-distributed into Critical Hit boosting skills when the cost to keep Viper Venom useful became too high at around level 20.

Characters:
Weaponmaster/Druid (20) , Hunter/Fire mage (27)

Difficulty level:
Just right and should not be nerfed anymore. I die occasionally but usually through some extremely stupid mistake.

My characters deal
Weaponmaster/Druid. Melee physical damage mostly, using Druid as a buff.
Hunter/Fire mage. Ranged physical damage (Serrated arrow).

Worlds are:
character level

Observations:
Weaponmaster (probably all straight-on melee classes) depends heavily on gear which I actually like. Since I upgraded my axe from 22.2 dps to over 40 dps killing has gotten considerably easier. The downside being that I had to concentrate purely on dexterity for a few levels in order to match the requirements so now my vitality, spirit and health sucks. Druid spell Strength of Stone helped with strength.

Serrated arrow is so powerful that you really do not need any AOE damage capability.
