I got about half way through the first article and had to stop...negative for the sake of negativity and way over the top with the hyperbole. Can't speak of the second article but if it's anything like the first I can't imagine it's worth anybody's time...unless they are the type of person who looks for stuff to bitch about.
But it's quite reflective of gaming journalism these days. A lot of reviewers cave in to publisher pressures when reviewing high profile games. It doesn't matter if the game has intrusive DRM or not, or how badly they run on systems; these tend to be glossed over - depending on how hyped the game is - and then the game just gets praised to all of the nine heavens.

I disagree...there might be a shred of truth in the article(s) but it's taken so far to the extreme it looses any integrity it might have had. I think if the author wanted to examine and fight for objective journalism, he should look no further then his own article.
