How about a large block cutting you off from the passage behind? It would have a LOT of hitpoints to take out to clear the path...

Also, maybe a juggernaught which would 'bowl' you over for X damage...

I like the juggernaut idea - sort of like the huge boulder in Raiders of the Lost Ark? It will bowl down everything in its path.

I'd also like to add on to this thread. What about a trap that unleashes a new, very powerful boss in a random level of the dungeon, that is completely neutral to all factions, and therefore kills everything it sees, and if you fail to stop it, it will obliterate anything in its way?

Or a trap that randomly drops a bunch of barrels and crates in the level, whether its in an area with no monsters, or an area where 2 rival factions are duking it out; and since we know barrels and crates are flammable...... :>

Actually I would like to see more pillars in the game too. Currently there don't seem to be many scattered as frequently as I'd have hoped.
