Here's a small mod that removes the level requirement for the different sized cargo bays. You can load up your shared stash with larger bays and use them right away with your new ships.

Alternately, check out my "All Giant Cargo Bays (http://www.soldak.com/forums/showthread.php?p=56298)" mod which you may prefer over this one.

Update 2013-02-15
Version 2: I've revamped this mod so it no longer drops all cargo bay sizes at the start and nothing later on. If you have the original version, remove it and replace it with DroxModBagLevels2.zip.

Place the DroxModBagLevels2.zip file in your /Drox Operative/Assets/ directory. No need to unzip it.

Credit to Manumitted and his Bag prerequisite remover mod for Din's Curse (http://www.soldak.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3545) which was the inspiration for this one.

Edit: This comment is no longer relevant since I've updated the mod, it doesn't use ItemLevel any longer.

Just a note: this mod currently makes cargo bays drop like crazy for the first 8 levels or so, then basically disappear afterwards. You can usually get a full set of the bigger ones by that time, but if not, you can unzip the file (then delete/move the zip), edit DroxModBagLevels.gdb and modify the ItemLevel* values from "4" to something a few above your current level.

You may want to just modify the Bag7 entry so only the huge cargo bays get dropped, and not any smaller ones. You can also add "SpawnChance" to up the odds of dropping from the default value of 5.0 to something higher (e.g. 7.5 or 10.0)

DroxModBagLevel7 overrides Bag7
ItemLevel 30 // 16
SpawnChance 7.5 // 5.0
