Looks promising, and their attitude towards micro-transactions and the like is pretty much exactly what I'd imagined Soldak would do should they ever take a stab at the notion---said attitude being even-handed and not exploitive that is.

The Gem system they are leaning on is also rather solid sounding, though I'm sure it would take some getting used to.

Who else is looking forward to this in the 2011 deluge now?

Can't wait. I hope I get in the beta early next year. I have a feeling it will make the wait for D3 slip away.

They posted information a few weeks back on how they will be running their Leagues (http://www.pathofexile.com/leagues/). Have to say, it sounds pretty sweet. Don't know that I'll have time to compete in any of their temporary leagues, but it's pretty cool that they'll be doing stuff like that.

It reminds me of the Materia system in Final Fantasy 7.

This looks really promising. I read under the class section that the classes/hybrids are going to be like mass effect. The marauder is the tank, the mage or w/e is the intelligent one, and the ranger is the finesse one. Then they will split each category into 2. So fighter/thief, fighter/mage, and mage/thief. That's really cool and the skill rune system leveling is awesome too. I'm not sure which i will play first-diablo 3 or poe :D

Well, I'm gonna guess PoE is gonna be out first, so that will help your decision. They put up a video (http://pathofexile.com/video/skill-system-demonstration/play) recently on how the active skills will work in the game. Do Want.

I cant wait to find out the hybrids. I can almost guess that the strength + dex will be an assassin/rogue or thief. While the Strength + intelligence will be a battlemage of some sort. The intelligence + dex will have to be a bard or something, which will be cool. Hopefully this game wont be choppy on my comp. I could care less about the multiplayer aspect, single player's good enough for me.

New Article (http://www.pcgamer.com/2010/12/17/witch-destroy-dungeons-with-path-of-exiles-new-playable-class/) on PC Gamer shows their new Witch class and a cool new video as well.

They recently posted another character class reveal video (http://www.pathofexile.com/video/duelist-trailer/play) for their duelist class. It's a pretty cool vid.
