It may just be a streak of bad luck, but all of my new IotA ships are having a really hard time finding level-appropriate power plants. There's none available at the vendors (even Fringe!),
and none have dropped for about the first ten levels. Given that power load plays a crucial role when upgrading one's ship at the very beginning, maybe it'd be a good idea to add a basic
power plant as starting equipment.

I have not noticed a power plant scarcity, but I can no longer find weapons with critical bonuses. Did that modifier get removed from weapon components? If it wasn't deliberately removed, can a developer check the code to make sure it has not fallen through the cracks?

As for power plants for starting ships, my bare bone scrounger got his first from a wandering vendor.

Nevermind the above. After not finding one single critical hit modifier on a weapon for days, I found three fighter bays with critical hit bonuses in one system, within five minutes. The RNG is messing with me.
