Ive noticed that races send 1 colony ship with 2 escorts when they want to colonize a new world. However the escorts trail the colony ships, rather than leading in front of them. This results in the colony ships getting attacked and killed while the escorts trail behind them

I've noticed several times where the escorts are far ahead or well behind the colony ship.

Think quests where we can escort colony ships would be nice. I've done that a few times to help an allied race, protect their little convoy. Can also heal their ship as well by dropping repair nanites or shield things on them.

Seems kinda pointles to get a quest to escort a Ship when we can take a Quest to carry the Colony Modules ourselves... or... maybe not... if the Colony Ship is holding the Colony Module, we don't have to temporarily interrupt our Build with the Colony Slot & hope we don't screw up & accidentally sell the off-duty Component before getting it Re-Equipped... Hmm...
