View Full Version : Limits with Modding Dungeon Levels ?

Hi Everyone reading , quick request for help with a mod i'm trying to build

Basically , i'm just trying to increase Min , Max levels in the dungeon

basic format is as below, and it works (min max levels are set at 20/30

mod_dungeonslevelsBaseAreaDungeon overrides BaseAreaDungeon
{
MinDepth 20
MaxDepth 30
MinBlocks 32
}



the problem i'm having is when someone else's connects to the host server , the level designs do not match .
I can be standing in a open area , but on other client i'm in a wall

is this a limitation with the client exe ? or have i missed other settings ??

Just a guess here but you likely need the other players to have the same mod installed, otherwise they may have a different map sequence generated as their game is registering data that should not exist by the terms it has currently defined.

I have tried it a second client both with and without the Mod , without any luck

it seems to be some kind of overflow issue on the server side

/baffled :)

Something like that needs to be on the server and all of the clients to work correctly.
