Here is the situation, was allied with Humans and had used a beacon near their only remaining planet. Overlord took over the planet, noticed later that the beacon was still active. The human ships from beacon turned to overlord ones, but the icon on the beacon itself was human. Interestingly enough I could remove the beacon.

Also if you a former ally turns declares war or dissolves the alliance, if you had a beacon setup, it remains.

Think beacons should be automatially removed, when the race no longer is allied with you.
