Hi, everyone. I wish we could have true vampires in this wonderful game. To get a message "Armorsmith Blake has been bitten by a Vampire" would be a joy.

2 more bites and we'd get "Armorsmith Blake has died from a severe loss of blood."

Then we'd see their gravestone in the town cemetery.

We'd soon read the alert, "Armorsmith Blake has become a Vampire!" The poor armorsmith would then rise from his grave and live in a coffin on a certain dungeon level. He would then target an NPC and start biting them, causing further spread of the disease (there'd be 2 total vampires at that point, both sleeping in coffins when not attacking town).

And only a stake or burning to kill, please! =)

Neat idea. You could also do the same with zombies.

In a related concept, I kind of wish there were monster diseases and status effects - so that level 5 could be full of monsters with xyz disease or status effect, the floor covered in abc type of danger, etc, to naturally create 'themes'.

Since undead guys can raise people, you sometimes see this now with entire levels full of zombies. Sadly, if an undead guy is raised in this way, he becomes an undead undead skeleton, which is a bit of a laugh. :)

I just think it'd be cool to have a cemetery in each town with a tombstone for each NPC who has died while you're trying to save the town.
