The attack and defense calculations in the game, or at least the way they're displayed, seems to be off.

In a non-modded game, I have a level 90 character who has an attack rating of 2012 and a defense rating of 1445. Hovering over the attack rating shows me that I have a 93% chance of hitting a level 90 monster. This means that

0.93 = 1 - x / (3 * 2012), where x is the monster's defense. Solving for x, we get that x = 422.52, which is supposed to be the monster's defense rating. However, at level 90, a monster is supposed to have 3 + 1.65*89 = 149.85 dexterity. Multiply that by 3 defense/DEX for a generic monster, and you get 450. Multiply that by 2.75, which is the difficulty multiplier for defense, and you get 1238 defense. The percentage to hit a level 90 monster should be around 79%.

The same applies to the calculation for defense against a monster.

EDIT: It looks like, at the very least, the difficulty level multipliers aren't being applied.
