Ist there a mod that will allow my character to see a little bit farther when in the dungeons?

As it is now, the enemy disappears when they are really close to my character at times. It feels very strange so I'm wondering if there is a mod, or it can be modded (if so what file), or there is a configuration file that will allow me to adjust the settings so that I can see just a little bit further from my character when down in the dungeons.

Also is there a mod by chance that lessens how often the NPC's in town starve? It seems even if I make the rounds in town and give everybody CP, a fair amount of it, within no time at all and I'm getting messages again that so and so NPC is starving. I don't know what happens if I ignore it as I don't really want to find out, so I have to stop what I'm doing and make my way back to the surface *again* to give Alcott or whomever more coins. It seems to be happening way too often in my opinion. Maybe a mod is available that reduces this?

Schönen Dank

For seeing further in the dungeons, go to this page and download the "Brighter Dungeons" mod.

To help with the problem of starving, just give everyone in town some money before you go down to the dungeon for the first time and this will satisfy them for a while. Bluddy's balance mod also reduces starvation, but it will make the game darker since he adjusted the light levels (you can find his mod on the Din's Curse Modding forums under "Balance Mod").

I've already got the brighter dungeon mod installed and even boosted the brightness even further, how ever while that "lights" up the dungeon a little better, the enemy still just disappears when it might only be 7 to 10 feet away from my character at certain times.

It's not like darkness is hiding them, they simply vanish then reappear again, the closer mobs seem to just pop in and out of view while I can still see some enemies pretty far away.

What you're seeing is probably the line of sight effect. When enemies go behind objects or around a corner, the game simulates not being able to see them. Sometimes you'll have a relatively small object that still counts as blocking your view in this way.
