Hi i tried changing the classes DB file so that npcs can use bows!

However i put the line in

ItemRequirement WeaponBow

But the npcs still dont seem to able to equip bows when i talk to them :(

The game needs a whole bunch of stuff to enable NPCs to have bows, including adding the bow animations to NPCs. Even then, they probably won't be able to use them because they'd be missing some things. In other words, this really isn't easy.

Yes. NPCs are basically monsters. You can look at how monster skills are defined in MonsterArchetypes.gdb ('Skill X'). Those Skill commands can be used either in NpcTypes.gdb or NpcArchetypes.gdb. You can look at how monster skills are defined in Monsters/skills.gdb.

If you also want the particle effects that go with firing the skills, you need to add animations to the NPCs. But this isn't critical.
