View Full Version : Modding skills to decrease attack time

Hi I want to change the warriors skill taunt to decrease my attack time by a small amount each level. How would I go about doing this?

For each skill there's a Skill<skillname> and a Skill<skillname>PerLevel entry in skills.gdb. I'd start by looking at the perlevel entry for a skill with a decreasing use time (like the base rogue skill I think) and see if you can implement something similar in the taunt perlevel entry.

Does that make sense, or just confuse you more?

That was my original plan but i cant find any skills that decrease attack time. There is the rogue skill concentration:speed, but under its entry all it has is statuseffectburstofspeed or something similar. So all i need is to find where this is defined.

I was able to find the right entry

StatMultAttackSpeed -0.05

this will decrease attack speed by 5%

Ah, sorry. I thought you were looking for how to decrease the skill cooldown for each rank of the skill. :)
