Every now and then I'd zoom in on a particular object or creature or landscape, and I'd realize just how cool some of the graphics actually are. I always use immersive interface mods in other games (Oblivion is a great example) and decided I'd try to make one for this one since so that I could have a more unobstructed view of the game. This is what I've come up with so far.

I should note that this is for more advanced users only because I've removed a bunch of buttons from the game, (they're invisble, not gone, so they still work) so for menu functions you just have to use hotkeys. I felt like this shouldn't be too big a deal since most people are probably just using hotkeys now.

It's not in a perfect state yet (I haven't figured out how to handle the text over bags quite yet), but I've used it for quite a while and everything seems to work. Let me know if you encounter any bugs. I think I might be moving my focus on to the speech mod at this point, so if somebody would like to take over, please feel free to.

To use this mod, all you have to do is unzip this file: tks dopii mod beta.zip (http://www.torikamal.com/dop%20mods/tks%20dopii%20mod%20beta.zip) to

C:\Program Files\Depths of Peril\Assets\UI

You can use this mod with any current game you are playing or any new ones you start. The next time you load up, it will take effect. To uninstall the mod, just delete the files.

Wow that actually looks really good. I'm impressed. I'll give your mod a try and see how it is.

There's a couple things I need to fix--when raids happen, or similar things, some icons get temporarily partially covered. I'll get that sorted out in a little while and update the links with the new files. Everything still works fine, though--you just get some temporary icon overlap.
