It was 5F outside this morning when our electricity went back on after being down for 3 hours. Considering I'm in North Texas, pretty much everything about that is ridiculous. I greatly appreciate whoever went out and fixed the problem though.

According to weather.com it got down to -3°F last night where we are. For reference, for Feb 15th, the average low is 34° and the record low WAS 22°. We only beat the record by 25.

Due to the weather & power issues in my area lately I'm tempted to add some kind of new events for planets in Drox 2, but we already have Power Grid Failure, Ice Age Forming, Global Dimming, Volcanic Winter, and Nuclear Winter.

As a follow up to a post from last week, I am so very grateful to our fans and press that have supported us all these years. Soldak would never have survived even close to this long without all of you. You all are awesome!

Today, where we are, it's in the 70s and my AC is on, whereas last Tuesday it got down to -3. Texas is strange sometimes. This will hopefully be my last weather related post for a while. :)

Spying is getting a boost and some clarification in the next Drox 2 patch.

I'm thinking about adding some new weapon types this week to Drox 2.

I added ballistic burst (machine gun), plasma blast (shotgun), and manual aim laser weapons today to Drox 2.

I added chaining beam weapons (chain lightning), plasma wave weapons (fire nova), and improved bombs quite a bit today in Drox 2.

I made a bunch of weapons more powerful today in Drox 2 (especially fighters and special weapons).
