Apparently star types and how they affect planet types is also going to get overhauled in the next Drox 2 patch.

I'm thinking of adding Cataclysms to Drox 2 to spice things up a bit. These would be events on a massive scale that greatly change the balance of power of the entire sector.

So I'm going forward with the Cataclysm idea and it looks like the first Drox 2 Cataclysm is going to be Fanatics.

The plan for this week is to add several more Cataclysms to Drox 2.

I just finished adding another Cataclysm to Drox 2. This one is the Singularity.

I've added two more Cataclysms for the next Drox 2 patch: Swarm and Eater of Worlds.

One of the reasons why things like designing and programming are hard is because small changes can have large ripple effects. Today's "small" Drox 2 change: ai ships can now use their full attack range.

I added another Cataclysm today to Drox 2: the Harvesters.

As a small indie game developer it's frustrating that Soldak goes mostly unnoticed and I never know how long we'll survive. However, we've lasted 16 years, released 8 games & 3 expansions, and have 1 game currently in Early Access (Drox Operative 2), so there's that.
