I've thought of that. It would be cool to get more feedback from all of you about names, but all it takes is one annoying person to go register any domain name that seems popular. I think I have settled on a name though.

Ouch. I hadn't thought of that aspect. Good to hear that you've got a name, though.

Maybe it could be- "Peeler's Galactic Emporium." Alright that sucked, but im sure the name will grow on us. Usually in my opinion, names on products are a way to attach good and bad things based on how we feel about it. If we dont like the game, then generally we will find the name to be distasteful. Whereas when we like the game or products, the name will appear to be cool. Thats just my interpretation, but i feel that it can apply to everything.

I usually don't post anything on Mondays because I'm doing boring biz stuff, today is only an exception on the posting part

you can now find ship wrecks, ancient artifacts, and other interesting things when scanning a planet for the first time

Neat. Shipwrecks should definitely spawn throughout the game as well, and perhaps extra ancient artifacts (on already-scanned planets) can be found as a result of quests?

Since my notion of the game mechanics is pretty vague at this point, I don't know if this is possible, but maybe if you damage but don't destroy an enemy ship, there's a certain chance you'll find a corresponding shipwreck on a planet near its path?

There are derelict ships out in space also and quests can point to derelict ships. I'm not sure about the damaged ship crashing or not, but it's a possibility.
