![]() Is there currently a way to simulate alpha strike?
As it stands, its a tad.. difficult to play with more than one or two weapons, particularly if you are trying to use wasd as navigation. An alpha strike button could be implemented to enable me to press '1' (or put it on my right click thing) to fire all actives I have equipped at my target. |

![]() There is not currently a way to fire all of your weapons at once with only one key.

![]() I'm definitely up for this idea.

![]() Yep, me too. That would be very useful if you're playing a stealth-based ship (which I do). Being able to hit with all weapons instantly, with one key, would be quite handy.

![]() As an additional feature, 'Alpha strike' would be quite welcome.
But what would be even more useful is to be able to assign more than one weapon to the right mouse button. We already have all the interface that is needed - we can place more than one item in the right mouse column to the right, to be selected with the wheel. All we need is an option saying "Fire all right mouse weapons together". Why is this more useful than alpha strike, at least is some cases? Because in at least one build, tractor/repulsor + multiple kinetic weapons, you want to immobilize the target, THEN send the projectiles. |

![]() I think about it from time to time. The question is mostly how do I do it interface wise?

You have a weapons/module group icon with 5 (just a number) empty boxes alongside it. You can drag modules from your ship loadout to place in the boxes. You can then drag the module group icon into the hotbar. When you fire the group it sends a command to fire all the attached weapons/modules. Make as many groups as you want. I'd suggest at least 3 though. Also, right-click hotbar to toggle autofire a la Warcraft. ![]() |
