Demon War compatible with original?
A few friends were looking into playing this game with me, but most of them dont want to shell out the extra money for Demon War, which i already own... is it possible for non-Demon War people to play with people who have it?

You all need to have the expansion to play together (or not have the expansion).

Don't quote me on this, but I think you can have two separate installs of Din's Curse - one with the expansion and one without. Then you should be able to play with your friends. I suspect that after playing a bit, your friends will be more than happy to purchase the expansion. Demon War really does add a lot to the game. (I'm biased, though. It's easily my favorite game of all time.)
