can't read title menu
I've installed the demo for Drox Operative, but when it starts, the entire start menu is undreadable. All I have are colored rectangular boxes...?

That means the textures aren't getting loaded correctly. On my system, this happens very rarely, but restarting the game usually fixes it. If that doesn't change anything, I would suggest updating your graphics drivers.

This sounds similar to an issue I had on a laptop the other day, when installing the Drox demo.
Win XP, service pack 3. Updating the video drivers fixed the issue. It was an nvidia card, cant remember the name. If it is a built in card on an older laptop, that may be troublesome as those drivers tend to never be updated.
