![]() ...like the teleport stone from Din's. A one-time use, maybe with delayed trigger, so you can warp out of an area in a pinch. Sometimes you know you're going to end as a scattered pile of space-kibble, into a random location of the galaxy by default, or find a very rare unique consumable that lets you pick a known system and takes you to that system's gate, for when you need to get to point "A" immediately, but you are at point "7".
I have spent too much time on this game, but it feels ok. Randomly warping into minefields could be hilariously painful, russian roulette on hardcore though. Last edited by Zillion : 11-13-2012 at 02:00 AM. |

![]() Better warp the player back to the jumpgate they're bound to, that way some measure of safety is guaranteed.
Other than that, I support this idea, though I must admit, I haven't really missed the Teleport Stone up to now... The whole thing could be explained as an ancient (and secret) Drox technology the Guild is not willing to share with any of the races. |

![]() Good call, and yes I guess some safety would be good as rolling the dice in these situations could end up pretty frustrating otherwise.
